1. 820
Where: 820 N Russell St
What: It sounds strange, but the avocado daquiri tastes divine. Avocados are mild in flavor, but this drink is quite decadent -- almost like an avocado milkshake. You must taste it to believe it.
2. Huber's
Where: 411 SW 3rd Ave
What: It's the oldest restaurant in the city, and the Spanish Coffee has been perfected. The blend of rich, hot coffee with liquor is the perfect companion on a cool, rainy night. Plus, Spanish Coffee is served with an extra touch: fire.
3. Saucebox
Where: 214 SW Broadway
What: The drink list at Saucebox takes ages to read, and there are plenty of gems, but the Best drink is a classic. It's similar to a mojito, but with a refreshing twist. Other bars have "borrowed" this drink, but Saucebox made it famous.
4. Pok Pok
Where: 3226 SE DivisionWhat: Mango Alexander
Mango infused vodka, meet coconut milk and lime. The combination is creative, packs a ton of flavor, and transports you to a deserted Thai island. Our only regret about the Mango Alexander is that it's gone so quickly.
5. Nuestra Cocina
Where: 2135 SE Division Street
What: The serrano lime drop.
Watch out -- this drink has got some serious kick. Serrano pepper-infused vodka is no joke, and it pairs perfectly with lots of lime and a bit of sugar. A very simple drink, but it goes perfectly with the delicious Mexican food at Nuestra Cocina.
