Guide Review - Portland Restaurant Review - Authentica
There's something about great Mexican food, and that's definitely what you get at Authentica, located at 5507 NE 30th Ave, near the intersection of NE Killingsworth and 30th.At first, I wasn't sure what to order. The menus is not your typical list of burritos, tacos, and tostadas. But once I tried the carnita autentica, a traditional pork dish, I was hooked. The flavors danced in my mouth, and I wanted more.
Each time I visit, I try something new, and I've yet to be disappointed. Authentica serves lunch and dinner, plus brunch on the weekends. I'm hesitant to tell everyone about the brunch, because it's never crowded, and I like it that way, but Authentica deserves a bit more attention.
