Portland loves its fruits and veggies, especially if they’re organic. There are two great companies that will deliver the goods to your house. Sign up for one of these services and you’ll be sure to get your five-a-day.

The Basics

  • Delivery to the Portland metro area
  • This company buys from organic farmers (many of whom are local) and delivers, so everything is super-fresh.
  • Frequency: Sign up to get deliveries weekly, biweekly, monthly, or choose your own frequency. Put your order on hold if you go on vacation.
  • Extras: You can also order basics like bread, eggs, coffee, and milk.
  • Price range: Depending on how big of a bin you get Bin for one, Value bin (prices range from $25 to $55)

The Basics

  • Spud purchased the Seattle-based company, They delivery in Portland metro, Seattle, and other west coast cities.
  • Works with organic farmers for about half the produce. The rest is purchased from local food suppliers.
  • Choose individual items or create a produce box.
  • Add other groceries to your order, such as meat, fish, coffee, soy & dairy products, canned goods, and snacks.
  • Set up a standing order, or shop once a week for customized grocery orders. Each area has a specified delivery day.
