Portland's Historic Amusement Park

From , former About.com Guide

Ride the Rides:

Let's be clear: This is not a huge amusement park with giant roller-coasters, but there are some thrill rides at Oaks Amusement Park, including the spinning Disk'O Ride and the Looping Thunder Roller Coaster. Looking for something more kid-friendly? Try the Big Pink Slide or the historic carousel, circa 1912.

Go Roller Skating:

Lace up those roller skates and hit the rink! In addition to skate events for both kids and adults, Oaks Park Roller Rink offers skate classes and even a skating club! Visit the rink calendar for more information.

Hold a Birthday Party or Other Event at Oaks Park:

The 5,000 square foot Historic Dance Pavilion is available for events year-round. Or, you could rent the roller rink for a birthday party to remember. Want to host an outdoor event? Oaks Amusement Park offers picnic areas from May – September. Plus, you can offer guests the option to access the park's amusements during your event.
