Starlight Run
Participate in this 3.1-mile fun run along the Starlight Parade route in front of more than 150,000 spectators. The Rose Festival expects at least 4,000 runners for this year's event. Participants race the clock and are also eligible to win prizes for best costumes. For registration information, visit .

More than 2,000 blooms will be on display for the 119th Annual Spring Rose Show, the largest and longest-running rose show in the country. Rose growers from across the Pacific Northwest participate, and the show expects 6,000 spectators to attend this year.

Rose Cup Races
This annual race is the oldest amateur road-racing event west of the Mississippi River. It features 400+ cars competing in 18 races over three days. Bring the whole family!

Dragon Boat Races
Dragon boat racing originated in China, where dragon-shaped boats race to drumbeats in the annual Dragon Boat Festival. The Rose Festival hosts the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association Dragon Boat Races, where 100 teams compete. The races are held on the Willamette River near the Hawthorne Bridge.
