Dusk at the 13th Door

Why do we pay to get totally freaked out by images of ghosts, zombies, and bloody bodies? Because we love the rush! Visit a haunted mansion this season and get your heart racing.

Milburn Manor
What: Lots of haunted attractions: The Haunted Manor, Wicked-Wood Forest, Boo Lane and the Moonlit Pumpkin Patch
Where: 11503 Broadacres Rd NE in Hubbard, Oregon (about 30 minutes outside of downtown Portland)
When: 10/9 – 10/11, Friday – Sunday
10/16 – 10/18, Friday – Sunday
10/22 – 10/25, Thursday – Sunday
10/29 – 10/31, Thursday – Saturday

How much: $8 for Haunted Manor or Wicked Wood Forest, $15 for both. $5.00 for Last Ride (New coffin experience). Boo Lane and the Pumpkin Patch are $5 together, including a pumpkin.

Times of operation:
Thursday & Sundays, 7 – 10 p.m.
Fridays and Saturdays, 7 – 11 p.m.

Fright Town
What: Three haunted houses under one roof
When: 10/3 - 10/4 and 10/9 – 10/11, 10/15 – 10/18, 10/22 – Halloween & November 1
Where: Beneath the Memorial Coliseum in Portland
How much: $20 (get $5 with the coupon on their website)

Scream at the Beach
What: Haunted House, live music, carnival rides, and theater productions
Where: 1802 Jantzen Beach Center
How much: Ticket prices vary depending on how many attractions you visit: $12 – $30

13th Door
What: Haunted House
When: 10/10 – 11/1 (closed on 10/19)
Sunday – Thursday, 7 p.m – 10 p.m., (except Halloween)
Friday + Saturday, 7 p.m – midnight
$10 Sun – Thurs, $13 Fri + Sat
Where: 8805 SW Canyon Lane, Portland
How much: $15 or $25 for VIP (no waiting). $5 for the behind-the-scenes tour.

Glowing Greens Miniature Golf
What: Mini-golf with a spooky, glow-in-the-dark Halloween twist
When: Sunday, noon - 10 p.m.
Monday - Thursday, 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. Friday 3 p.m. - midnight Saturday, noon - midnight
Where: Downtown Portland, SW 5th and Taylor, next to Qdoba Mexican restaurant.
How much: $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for kids 7 – 12. Ask about other discounts.

Davis Graveyard
What: A spooky display of lights, sound, fog, video and animations
When: 10/6 through early November, Fridays and Saturdays, dusk to 11 p.m., Sundays dusk to 10 p.m.
Where: 8703 SE 43rd Avenue, Milwaukie, OR (corner of Johnson Creek and 43rd)

Shanghai Tunnel Halloween Tours
What: Get a tour of the Portland Underground, and hear about the ghosts who are said to be leftover spirits of men who died after being shanghaiied between 1850 and 1940.
When: Check the online schedule at the link above.
How much: $26 adults, $17 for children under 12.
