There's a whole lot of great stuff to do, eat and drink here in Portland -- and Thanksgiving is certainly no exception. Looking for a place to go out to eat on Thanksgiving Day? There are plenty of options in both the Northeast/Southeast and Northwest/Southwest parts of town (as well as places that will prepare take out or gourmet desserts for you.
Most of us have a little guilt associated with over-stuffing ourselves this holiday weekend. Temper that by heading out on a pre-meal Turkey Trot: there's one at the Portland Zoo and a trail run in West Linn.
Thanksgiving weekend has also become a popular wine tasting time -- check out the Willamette Valley Wine Country Thanksgiving, with great destinations within and very close to Portland.
