Even though I don't live or work in the Pearl District, I would often travel there for one of my favorite restaurants: Blossoming Lotus. The place was always busy, and everyone raved about their food, which focuses on a raw, vegan, and live menu. Even though I don't usually eat by any of those rules, I had many amazing meals here, and I'm sad to see that it's no longer open.
The silver lining is that there is still a Blossoming Lotus in Portland. It's near the intersection of NE 15th/Broadway (1713 NE 15th). So, if you're a fan of this place, or you're just curious, I encourage you to visit the eastside location.
