Coming Up: Greek Fest

Saturday September 20, 2008

If you've never been to Greece, I can tell you that it's absolutely worth the trip. The bluest water, the most delicious cuisine, and the incredible scenery make it dreamlike.

But in lieu of an imminent trip to the Mediterranean, I suggest a visit the Portland Greek Festival. This festival has been running for more than 50 years, and features incredible food, dancing, cooking demos and authentic Greek crafts.

The 2008 festival is right around the corner: October 3 – 5, at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (32nd + NE Gllisan). The Greek Festival is one of the many cultural festivals that Portland supports, and it's definitely one of my favorites.
