The Portland restaurant scene just shrank a bit with the closing of three spots:

Considering the crowds at Taqueria Nueve, I was surprised to hear that news. High-end Mexican food is a tough sell in Portland, apparently. Luckily there are still places to get great tacos like ¿Por Qué No?. If you haven't been over there, it's well worth the trip to 3524 N Mississippi.
