Portland soccer season is about to kick off. April 17, 2008 is opening night at PGE Park, and our Portland Timbers will battle the Puerto Rico Islanders at 7 p.m. Aside from being the first game of the season, this is also Timber Jim Retirement Night, and the first 1,000 fans through the door will get a free Timber Jim T-shirt. Jim will also be honored at a half-time ceremony and he'll sign autographs, too.

General admission seats are only $11 each (plus service charges, of course) and are available online and in person at the PGE Park Box Office.
